Exploring the Tobacco Endgame - Implications for Behavioral Health
With over 40 million individuals using commercial tobacco products in the United States, tobacco remains the number one preventable cause of disease, disability and death. Individuals with mental health and/or substance use (MH/SU) challenges consume up to 40% of tobacco products and experience tobacco – related disparities, making them a priority population to consider in strategizing the tobacco endgame.

Join the National Behavioral Health Network for Tobacco and Cancer Control, at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, on March 7th from 2 pm – 3 pm ET to increase understanding of tobacco endgame and its importance in ensuring optimal health outcomes for individuals with MH/SU challenges.

By joining this webinar, participants will:

• Identify complementary strategies that can be used in the behavioral health setting.
• Understand the need for increased treatment and recovery capacity to support endgame strategies.
