Ronnie Tyson

26:55
Hi all! It would be great if you could please update (if you have not already) your name in Zoom to include your full name and organization so we can accurately count you as attending today's session. To change your name, please click the three dotted icon on your camera screen and scroll down to "Rename." Thanks and please let me know if you have questions!

28:14
Wish I could join everyone via video but I live in a rural area with poor internet service so audio is the best I can do on most days including today!

28:37
apologies from me as well, I don't have a working webcam :/

29:06
I will be on vidoe shortly, but here listening

32:36
Did not fine the option to rename. I am Carlos Y. Faulk BS,APS Aliviane, Inc

33:22
Will you discuss the financial discussion points to use with leadership? I have found this a primary barrier for higher level discussions.

33:27
We already embrace team based care we need to develop highly effective team based care is there a reccomended reading for defining highly efective teams

45:18
Hi Nina, the financing points are important and both the billable aspects (how to pay for meetings) and the cost offsets (how will TBC make us more efficient b/c for example people are working at the top of their license, etc.). We can touch on this today and have an ECHO coming up that looks at this

45:51
@Jeff - thank you!

47:48
@ Ronnie we like book "teaming" by Amy Edmondson and certainly the reference list in the NC MDI paper are good resources

50:16
Thanks Jeff

50:47
I’m thinking about the adaptive leadership slide we just saw. Has there been an opportunity for calling out the emotional impact and talking about it?

51:35
How long was this process in place prior to COVID and how was it working then?

52:47
@Ronnie if there is a specific TBC topic let us know and we can find specific resources for that

53:26
If I understand correctly, sounds like the team has a Team Lead who is a clinical supervisor and then all team members have their own/seperate supervisor? I wonder if there is a disconnect due to multiple supervisors?

54:10
@Jill - great point!

54:31
Is there any way for the Team Lead person for each separate team to meet together to discuss a similar style, get feedback on their process of implementation, etc. Or a way for different Team Leads to sit in on other teams?

54:34
I agree Jill. great point made

55:31
Good point Jill, we often see these team designs where there is matrix supervision (clinic team lead and hire/fire supervisor....for lack better terms) which is fine but the supervisor and team leaders have to be on the same page or confusion reigns!

01:00:49
You mentioned scheduling challenges. Is there an expectation that how you schedule as a result of team implementation (i.e. frequency, clinician, walk in) looks different that it did 'pre-team' scheduling.

01:07:15
Does anyone else have ideas?

01:07:35
Thinking back to my behavior management days working with teachers on behavior plans in school, how involved were the therapists in designing the program? If they are part of the planning they may be more committed to the change. You know these are things we would like to do, what do you feel is doing now (during COVID) and what will be our benchmark to know when we can added the others incrementally. Also I agree with Jeff procedures need to be consistent across teams

01:08:32
I love the idea of embracing failure. Giving feedback like “I like this….” About the changes and also “I wish….” In order to give change recommendations

01:11:37
One thing that I have been doing as the CEO is 2-3 times a month having "Connect with Kim" mtgs where employees can submit questions via a google doc anonymously in advance and then employees join via a zoom to talk through the questions and what is concerning to them. It seems that most people are engaging with these and we have been able to help employees with some of their more immediate employee concerns so that we can focus on more team-based care for our clients during other meetings.

01:12:04
Hi Dr Capobianco

01:12:14
Love this Kim!
